The Capoliveri Bike Park
Capoliveri is not only famous for the beautiful beaches that surround it or for the social life in the village. For the past few years it has become a major destination for mountain bike lovers, both muscle and e-bike, thanks to the trails that wind along Mount Calamita behind the town.
The Capoliveri Bike Park consists of 5 permanent trails of varying difficulty and length for a total of more than 100 km of spectacular and interchangeable paths and roads.
The great work of preparation by the men of the Association has allowed each route to be identified by a color and marked, in the territory and at each intersection, by special signs that indicate the name of the route, the direction to follow, a number referring to the point where the sign is placed so that it can be identified on the map and the name of the place where it is located.

Enthusiasts will then have various possibilities, depending on their own characteristics, to enjoy a breathtaking descent, or get to the top of the mountain, lapping and then bathing in one of the many beaches of the Costa dei Gabbiani or visiting the ancient iron mines.
It should be mentioned that these routes were part of the World Cup in 1994 (it was considered by champions to be one of the three most beautiful destinations for a biker), will be again in October 2021, and every year the Legend Cup, a legendary race of the UCI MTB Marathon Series, is held there.
