Le Grazie Est is an apartment complex below the village of Capoliveri, situated just 400 metres from the sea on one of the most attractive stretches of the Elba coastline.
What sets the complex apart is the peace and tranquillity, with a little dose of romanticism thanks to its position with views over the Stella Gulf.
There is a large garden with a pinewood and various facilities including a swimming pool with hydromassage for adults and children, overlooking the sea, a synthetic grass tennis court with evening lighting, games for children, and a barbecue area. All designed to make your holiday on Elba nice and relaxing.
The 19 studio, two-room or three-room apartments are on the ground or 1st floor and all have private entrance, terrace or outside space, furnished for sitting and eating outside in comfort.
The cliff at the edge of the small beach of Madonna delle Grazie and the rocky seabed are a perfect refuge for small fish, octopus and crabs and make the beach particularly suitable for snorkelling and diving.
The beach takes its name from the seventeenth-century sanctuary situated behind it, where you can admire a table attributed to Marcello Venusti, Michelangelo's favourite pupil and a recently restored eighteenth-century organ by Eugenio Allori.
But the whole coast is peppered with beaches that can be reached by car in just a few minutes or by mountain bike, up to the Costa dei Gabbiani where you will find completely free beaches of a thousand colours that still have traces of the extraction and processing of iron from the last century, the main industry of this part of Elba at that time.
The town of Capoliveri is only 2,300 metres away and is one of the most picturesque and lively centres on the island, where you can spend a lovely evening exploring the alleys, shops, bars and the best restaurants, offering everything you might need for your holiday. Also worth mentioning is Monte Calamita behind Capoliveri, home to one of the most beautiful Bike Parks in the world (according to the cyclists who came to compete for the World Cup in 1994) which offers trails for all enthusiasts. At Costa dei Gabbiani there is also a riding school.
